Welcome to VeloChain. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the VeloChain decentralized exchange platform, including any related tools, APIs, and services. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a legally binding contract to use VeloChain. By using the platform, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements and that your use complies with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction.
3. Wallet & Key Management
VeloChain is a non-custodial platform. You are solely responsible for the security of your wallet, private keys, and recovery phrases. We do not store, have access to, or recover lost private keys or passwords. Any loss of access to your wallet may result in the permanent loss of your assets.
4. Transactions & Smart Contracts
All transactions executed through VeloChain are processed via immutable smart contracts on the blockchain. We do not control, reverse, or refund transactions once they are confirmed on-chain. You acknowledge that blockchain transactions are irreversible and subject to network conditions, including gas fees and congestion.
5. Fees
VeloChain may charge protocol fees on certain swaps and liquidity provision activities. All applicable fees are displayed transparently before you confirm a transaction. You are also responsible for paying network gas fees required by the underlying blockchain.
6. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to use VeloChain for any unlawful purpose or to engage in any activity that could harm the platform or its users. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to, market manipulation, money laundering, fraud, exploiting smart contract vulnerabilities, and using the platform in violation of sanctions or export controls.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, VeloChain and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the platform. This includes losses due to smart contract bugs, blockchain reorgs, price volatility, phishing, or unauthorized access to your wallet.
8. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this page. Your continued use of VeloChain after any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
